As the swimmer moves, the chute opens and closes with the quality of the stroke. When the athlete holds the line, connects the catch, and moves pressure backward, the chute opens with steadier drag. When the stroke slips, rushes, crosses, or loses shape, the chute reacts. It opens. It pulses. It closes. A hard stroke does not always open the chute well. A connected stroke does. Built for resisted 25s, start work, tempo sets, and chute-on / chute-off contrast training, it gives coaches a simple way to expose catch pressure, bodyline, rhythm, and technique under load.
