Colab Sports LLC ("Colab Sports", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use our websites, applications, and services, including our performance lab app, team community features, commerce experiences, and AI/voice tools (collectively, the "Services").

Information We Collect

Information you provide

Account details: name, email, selected view (Personal or Coach), birth date, and the resulting age-eligibility status.
Profile data you choose to add: bio, interests, sports categories, goals, equipment, measurements, sizing photos, and preferences.
Team and community inputs: team memberships, roles, posts or messages you submit in team contexts.
Commerce details via Shopify and Stripe: items in cart, orders, subscriptions, and basic customer info. Sensitive payment details are processed by the payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
Content you upload: training videos for analysis, images, documents, and any annotations.
Voice and chat interactions: when you use voice features or planning agents, your audio and text content is sent to our AI service provider to transcribe and generate responses.

Information collected automatically

Usage data: app interactions, pages viewed, and feature engagement.
Device and log information: browser type, device identifiers, timestamps, and IP address.
Cookies and similar technologies for session continuity and analytics.

Information from integrations you connect

Wearables and health data (e.g., Garmin, Apple Health) if you choose to connect. We store connection status, sync metadata, and the specific data types you authorize (e.g., heart rate, sleep, activity). You can disconnect at any time.
Team memberships and coach relationships within your organizations.
For guardian-managed youth profiles: the athlete’s name, team relationship, guardian contact information, and consent records.

How We Use Information

Provide and improve training, analytics, and community features.
Personalize recommendations, insights, and planning content.
Operate our commerce experience (products, memberships, orders).
Process voice/chat interactions and generate AI responses.
Maintain safety, prevent misuse, and troubleshoot issues.
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

Sharing and Disclosure

Service providers

We share information with vendors who help us operate the Services. These include: Amazon Web Services (Amplify, S3) for hosting and data storage; Shopify for commerce; Google Analytics for usage analytics; and OpenAI for AI/voice processing. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual obligations.

Teams, coaches, and community

In team contexts, coaches and authorized staff may see your shared profile data and team-relevant analytics you choose to share. You control what you add to your profile and can leave teams at any time.

Legal, safety, and business transfers

We may disclose information to comply with law, respond to legal requests, protect our rights or users, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Services are used. We use Google Analytics to measure aggregate usage and improve the product. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect core functionality.

Data Security and Retention

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including using reputable cloud infrastructure and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use strong passwords and keep your account credentials safe.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion, subject to certain exemptions.

Age-verification information is used only to determine age-appropriate access and safety settings. The LOOP app does not place a full birth date in its general offline cache. For children under 13, we retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the specific guardian-authorized purpose and delete it when that purpose ends, subject to legal retention requirements.

Your Choices and Rights

Access, update, or delete profile information in your account settings.
Disconnect integrations and manage data types shared from wearables.
Manage communications preferences; unsubscribe from marketing emails.
Request a copy of your data or deletion at any time.
California and EU/UK residents may have additional rights (access, correction, portability, objection, restriction, deletion). We will honor applicable legal requests.

Children’s Privacy

Children under 16 may not create an independent personal LOOP account. A younger athlete may appear in a guardian-controlled team roster or youth profile only where Colab specifically offers that experience. The adult account holder controls the profile, and no separate child sign-in is created.

Before activating features that collect personal information directly from a child under 13, Colab requires a parent or legal guardian to receive notice and provide verifiable consent. Until that step is complete, the youth connection remains pending and personal uploads, chat, public sharing, wearable connections, and AI processing are unavailable. We do not use a child’s personal information for targeted advertising.

A parent or guardian may contact us to review, correct, download, or delete a child’s information; revoke consent; or refuse further collection or use. Contact info@colabsports.com. If we learn that a child supplied information through an independent account, we will restrict the account and take appropriate deletion or consent steps.
